Sex
Sex is a natural product of human existence.
So what is there to fear?
Of what is there to be ashamed?
How is guilt serving you?
Are you more grand
than nature?
Sex itself does not cause bondage.
Fear and desire do.
So if you want freedom,
these must be given up.
Undoubtedly.
When fear and desire are expunged
then sexual desire runs its course,
just as rivers of spirit
enter the Universal Ocean.
You will be free of sexual desire
when there is no longer any need for sex in you,
and not before.
So artificial renunciation is detrimental.
As is slavery to passion -
blind indulgence.
What is needed
is an understanding of the Self.
The soul desires its own nature.
Light seeks Light.
Light attracts Light.
Attraction for another
is a desire to merge one’s own light
with a stronger light,
or a compatible light,
in order to shine in a more complete way.
We all need to shine.
It is our birthright.
It is the light in another
that speaks to us of our own buried glory,
and calls us into union
with actually our own Self,
in an external and complementary form.
It is from the soul
that the
desire for union
actually springs.
The soul is always seeking its Source,
Pure Love – the highest pleasure.
But the ego, blinded by the senses,
does not know the true reasons
behind its own actions.
Thus the soul,
bound to the ego,
is perpetually lost.
Sexual attraction is the natural desire
for the glory of Oneness…Wholeness…Truth.
Problems arise
when we take
the brilliance of the soul
to be simply
the beauty of the body.
Thus confused,
we may seek to simply unite bodies,
not realizing that
during sex
spirit connects with spirit,
and we exchange a piece of our inner essence
with our partner,
unfortunately sometimes not even knowing
who we actually are,
or who he or she actually is,
and thus who we have become
through union with him or her.
In these ways
the children of God
lose themselves
time and time again, piece by piece,
and go wandering the earth
in a desperate search for Love.
Lacking knowledge,
and guidance,
they lose themselves many times,
before realizing that what they really want
is first to be found within.
The Self is the fountainhead of Love.
Sex between two beings
causes a fissure
in the material atmosphere
through which divine energy pours.
In this way,
a divine person
may ride this energy
into the material world
to rest in
and then rise from
the body of a female.
If this energy
is not channeled with Love,
then Pure Spirit expands away,
leaving a feeling of hollowness.
When sex is an expression of Love,
then divine energy enters
and expands in the Lovers,
through the Lovers,
unites the Lovers.
Sex under any other circumstances
pains the soul,
whether you perceive it in the moment or not.
Sex without Love
is an unkept promise.
Many such promises
hurt the Heart.
So those who Love themselves
will make sex an act of Love,
and nothing else.
Acknowledge your needs,
but do not hasten to sex
because the senses urge you to.
Wait patiently for Love.
Let sex spring naturally from Love.
And in the ecstasy of soul union,
you will know what is pure
and what is not.
There is no need to think
if you can
fearlessly let go
and trust in Spirit.
Spirit will speak Truth
through your deep inner feeling,
if you take the time
to be still.
To hear Her takes a calm patience
that passion destroys.
So give your passion first to Her,
and She will use it
through you.
The soul manifests through the whole body,
and even beyond the body.
So since sex naturally is a spiritual act,
use the whole body,
use the whole self,
not just the genitals.
This will be pleasing to the soul.
Take your time.
Do not be in a rush.
Fear and lust
hasten the process,
and the nectar slips away.
If you are afraid of sex,
you are afraid of you.
What does God fear?
But if lust leads you to sex,
misery rules you.
What does God need?
We all have made mistakes
with sex.
Forgiveness is here,
Healing is here,
when we learn from them,
and use our energies
to serve Truth.
Preserve your energy
for the proper moment.
Allow your being
to be as it is now.
Be patient.
Sex is not separate
from the glory of life,
from the beauty of life.
But not all
of life’s beauty or glory
begins or ends with sex.
Life is expansive,
and beauty and glory are everywhere.
Do not limit yourself,
do not degrade your soul,
in the purely carnal.
Stay with the Self.
Open up.
Embrace what exists now
from this point of
inner stillness.
Do not run away,
Do not run to.
Flow.
Unite with yourself first,
and let your union
with the other parts of your Self
thus reveal itself.
